let no one forget it.. most secular liberals think that all religions are the same, and they consider any suggestion to the contrary a sign of bigotry.

No, unless you kill the internet and education, so everyone becomes illiterate. It's been a long time since romans only allowed those to read the bible in latin and only in churchs.

There is nothing intrinsically more violent about Islam or tolerant about Christianity, these are just effects of the historical and social situations the respective religions now find themselves in.

Yes there is, for one the bible asks to love one another like your own while the quran asks to kill, it teachs that dying for allah during a fight is noble.

There is historical evidence for jesus, but there is no historical evidence for jesus christ, Ehrman has a good hypothesis as to how jesus became jesus christ.

Chapter 4 Hassan's New Book - Evaluating the Situation

in chapter 3 of the book hassan talks about the use of the strategic interactive approach to reach our relatives inside cults.

he admits that cult exiting techniques of years before were not successful such as interventions , deprogramming, exit counseling .

with the sia approach it emphasizes teamwork between family members and reaching the cult member through love and trust building rapport with them by accessing their authentic personality.. i picked chapter 4 to use in a thread as it goes into more detail than chapter 3 about techniques to use in reaching our cult family or friends.

i think it's wrong to spay or neuter.

i bet most of you will disagree.. my vet just called me an irresponsible owner for refusing to have my cat spayed..

it is brought to my attention that some non jw's deliberately accept jw literature just to throw it in the bin.. their intentions are perceived as positive meaning these non jw's throwing their magazines away is a good thing.. what is your view on the matter?.

Blondie - I read I think in CoC or ISoCF that the production costs for a mag cost way less than what jw's think they cost, so you and elderelite are suggesting that the WB&TS may be making a loss, does anyone have evidence to support this?

The last question has two parts so let me point them out, one aspect is the communication and the other is the money involved. So putting it in context would be - Would there be a loss of revenue due to a decrease in supply? Let's say many change their mind and don't want mags. the printing press now produces less magazines and the slaves pay less for magazines due to the decrease in supply (less hand out's of watchtower literature).-

fakesmile wrote last question. it could go either way. accepting litteratrash makes their numbers look good. printing is done by slaves with tax free equipment. but declining it makes #s look worse and they can use that to backup the "time is here" claim. so eh. no loss of revenue either way unless the #s get them a better gubment subsidy. just my opinion. my deadlock involved junking books having not read some of it and knowing where it belongs.
